Growing up watching adaptations of Agatha Christie's work was the beginning for Ainsley. Here she discovered her love of mysteries. Early on Ainsley fell in love with writing and it wasn't until early adulthood that she decided to put the two together. A goal and a leap of faith led Ainsley to write By the lake.
