MICHAEL GALLAGHER teaches Irish politics and is Professor of Comparative Politics at Trinity College Dublin, Ireland. He is co-editor of "The Politics of Electoral Systems" (2008) and "Politics in the Republic of Ireland" (2005), and co-author of "Representative Government in Modern Europe" (2006) and "Days of Blue Loyalty" (2002).
