Stanley Hoffmann is Buttenwieser University Professor at Harvard University's Center for European Studies. He is the author of "Primacy or World Order: American Foreign Policy since the Cold War, World Disorder: Troubled Peace in the Post-Cold War Era", and "In Search of France", among others.
