Gosyne, Lakshmi

Lakshmi Gosyne was born in Trinidad and Tobago, moved to Toronto, Canada when she was a young girl and has recently moved to New Zealand. Wow, she moved a lot! She fell in love with words and books almost from birth and is a voracious reader. Her fifth-grade teacher once thought that she plagiarized a poem that she wrote and had a meeting with her parents. Luckily, her mum was there when she was composing it and vouched for its authenticity. The poem got published in the school newsletter twice in a row.
