This book tells the story of a collective project, the creation of a pavilion and its garden in one of them: Ibukijima. Produced in 2016 as part of the Seto.uchi Triennial, which seeks to counteract this island senescence, it highlights the virtues of a constructive ecology based on recycling and the use of local resources.

Tardits, ManuelManuel Tardits is an architect with a master's degree in engineering from the University of Tokyo. He has lived, built, written and taught in Japan since 1985. He founded Mikan Architecture in 1995 with three Japanese partners.
