At the University of South Australia, AJI PRASETYA WIBAWA was awarded a doctoral degree in the field of electrical and information engineering (UniSA). He held the position of Head of the Electrical Engineering Department at Universitas Negeri Malang (UM), which is located in Indonesia. In addition, he is the Leader of a Research Group that focuses on knowledge engineering and data science (KEDS). At the moment, he is the Head of the Academic Publication Center at the same University. His research interests include artificial intelligence (AI), data mining, machine translation, and social informatics. These research interests are reflected in the journals that he edits, such as Knowledge Engineering and Data Science (KEDS) and Bulletin of Social Informatics Theory and Applications (BUSINTA).
