William Shakespeare's sonnet collection translated and analyzed. This is intended for the student and interested reader who are attempting to comprehend the poetical technique, skill and sheer mastery of the artist. This newest revision contains analysis that, I believe, contributes to the knowledge of the artist's sonnet collection. Since this publication there have been many new works that have provided a similar attempt; from the scholarly to those that serve as student aids. This is largely commendable and a realization of one of my own goals; that is, to further interest in this field. There are two critical distinctions I would like to elucidate here; first, my analyses are not only written for the purpose of a literal understanding of the work but are written in a poetic vein so that their spirit is conveyed in yet another dimension. This is related to the second distinction; my own analyses have the added advantage of being written by an author who has published his own original sonnet collections (as well as several other original poetry publications). This, I feel, is evident throughout this work; lending not only a deeper appreciation and understanding of Shakespeare's work, but in a manner that is both entertaining and inspiring, as well.
