O autorze

Nelly Amri (Ph.D. 1996, Habilitation 2004) is Professor of History (University of La Manouba). In her research she focuses on piety, Sufism, hagiography, the history of sanctity and female sainthood in the Maghreb. Her publications include Croire au Maghreb médiéval. La sainteté en question, XIVe-XVe siècle (2019).

Rachida Chih (Ph.D. 1996, Habilitation 2015, Aix-en Provence) is Senior Researcher (CNRS, Paris). She specializes in the history, literature and anthropology of Sufism in modern and contemporary Egypt and Morocco. Her publications include Sufism in Ottoman Egypt: Circulation, Renewal and Authority in the Seventeenth and Eighteenth Centuries (2019).

Stefan Reichmuth (Ph.D. 1983, Habilitation 1992) is retired Professor of Arabic and Islamic Studies at Bochum University. He has published on Arabic and Islam in Africa, the history of science, Sufism and transregional networks, including "Aspects of Prophetic Piety in the Early Modern Period" (2017).
