This book contains poems written over the past 5 years. The book's purpose is for the empowerment among all people of color with dreams to be freed from an oppressive state of mind through their creativity. All of my poems stem from my dreams of changing lives and igniting a flame in people to fight for their passions. For now, poetry is my mental escape, though my goal is for my words to bring both mental and physical liberation to many people. I dream of freedom and believe creativity will grant it.
