She becomes a user of men employing sex and lust to gain their help in attaining her goals. She seeks vengeance against those who she thinks have dishonored her family. Forgiveness is not a part of her make up. She becomes a physically well-endowed beauty who outwardly exhibits the characteristics of a soft and loving woman; Mark Daniels falls in love with her. As a token of that love, he gives her a brooch that shows up again and again through out the novel.
Two murders take place, murders that in some way are connected to Mi Hi. Was Mi Hi involved? It is very possible.but maybe not.
"The Brooch" is a love story/mystery that keeps the reader guessing while entwining an entertaining love story throughout.
