This union between State and Church has perpetuated itself over our nation until the present day, albeit in a masked form. However, the benefits that the State granted to the one that helped it in the beginning, the Church, led to a problem that needs to be circumvented: The Commerce of Faith. With privileges granted by the State, the current Brazilian religious scenario is out of step with what should really be its main concern: social causes, the good of others, the gospel pure and simple.
