What began as an extra-credit, English assignment to construct a single, simple sonnet became a continual, consuming composition of seventy in ten subsequent sections. Originally requested to write one for one lucky classmate a week in advance, I quested for perfection and success by writing one each day before the reading. Although it wasn't alluring to her, it was soon addicting to my heart; indeed, before I knew it was I counting meter for potential lines with my fingers. As I chose ten weeks to compose my experiences in adoration for my lovers, I passed through periods of tragedy, calmness and pleasure, leading to the realization that everything, everyone and every day shall, too, pass; however, the memory of those feelings while in love never will.
