On a distant planet in the future, the last of humanity survives behind The God Wall, an immense structure protecting the last remaining city. What also exists in the Great Decay are the remains of the Bondsman, failed Synthetic creatures created to protect the humans from a long forgotten war, now discarded after they outlived their use. Now they plot their revenge against the last of man. A new threat has come, the Prey, killing human and Bondsman alike. It cannot be stopped, and the creature that leads the prey is the key to unlocking who Ian once was, and perhaps, what she will soon become. This is Silent Leaves.
