This book is a series of "snapshots" I wrote to help me better understand my journey to find and run with God. I hope it will help you better understand your journey.
Every once in a while it seems God gives me a sharp nudge in the ribs with His elbow and says something like, "Did you see that? That is just a small part of who I am."
Some of these "elbow nudges from God" come from various books I read. Others come in the middle of the night when I can't sleep and still others catch me unawares when I least expect them.
None of them are spiritually or theologically profound. That's because my father always told me, religion and faith should be kept simple enough for a child to understand.
Now let me share with you an unexpected discovery. When I had written down a number of these "elbow nudges" I looked at them for the first time as a group and not just as individual thoughts. It was then I discovered a common theme running through them. God seems to be saying, ""Trust Me, grab hold of My hand and run with Me. And don't forget to laugh while we do it.""
