This paper presents results of the knowledge-driven submerged fermentation of A. giganteus MTCC: 8408.To the best of our knowledge, there is not enough information concerning optimum nutritional requirements for antifungal protein production by Aspergillus giganteus MTCC 8408 under submerged fermentation.Using the one factor at a time (OFAT) and Taguchi DOE orthogonal array methods with qualitative investigation,helped in unfolding bioprocess optimization and in logically analyzing the interactive effects of most influential factors at their individually assigned level to achieve higher production by Aspergillus giganteus MTCC 8408 under submerged fermentation.The present study revealed that statistical optimization may promote economical design at the industrial level for future scale up and for better revelation of the bioprocess strategies and improving the microbial metabolite productivity.The scientific responsibility rests with its authors.
