Dear Reader, Hi my name is Michael Anton Ozbolt. I am the author of this (My first book) "Poetic Philosophy and Compilations of a Heroin Addict," and yes it is I who was the addict. This is my first true collection of works that I used as my personal therapy. For me this was the best way for me to battle my addiction and is one method I still use. I have always viewed writing as one of the best forms of expression to bring the reader into a vivid and imaginative world of the authors creation. In this book I believe you can really understand where my head was venturing to that day or that particular minute that the piece was written. Some key notes you should know if you decide to read it: 1.) I was incarcerated at the time in which all of these were conceived. 2.) You may note that mostly all of the pages are numbered, signed and dated as well. (this was done so no one was able to steal my works, believe it or not even paper and writing utensils were up for grabs) 3.) You may also notice that grammar, proper punctuation, and spelling were of no concern of mine while I was simply writing to keep from becoming insane. 4.) Now lastly I must say that because it all came from my imagination I completely understand if it may not be the easiest to comprehend; sometimes it still fools me, but trust me when I say take almost nothing at face value there are hidden meanings and messages all throughout my work.
