The paper presents a holistic analysis of the essence of barrier pedagogy as a new direction of professional pedagogy, providing the formation of future teachers' readiness to anticipate and overcome pedagogical barriers. The author substantiates the binary essence of the concept of "pedagogical barrier": on the one hand, it is a complex pedagogical phenomenon that hinders, constrains, reduces the effectiveness and success of the educational process, on the other hand, it is a means that stimulates and increases the effectiveness of the subjects of the educational process by overcoming it. The paper presents the author's classification of pedagogical barriers of the subjects of the educational process: both those who teach and those who learn. The formation of the future teacher's readiness is provided by the strategy of anticipation and the strategy of overcoming pedagogical barriers. Within the framework of these strategies, the author emphasizes the following tactics: prediction, assistance, stimulation, support, cooperation, autotraining, support, and developmental tactics.
