Five years ago and counting, I recorded this in my science diary: "12/03/2011: This morning while munching on a piece of dry toast, I picked up a blank sheet of paper and stared at it..turned it over ...and stared at it some more. A thought experiment popped into my head: What if I were the Absolute and this thin piece of paper in my hand were the spacetime curvature of a lower dimensional Universe? Moreover, what if simply by folding it, I could entangle a few particles, thus violating Bell's Theorem. And then what if, with my Infinite Sense of Humor (remember, I'm the Absolute), I unfold this folded spacetime just a little so gravity is created between the entangled particles? What then? That's it Fractal folding (and unfolding)..." ...PQ Columbo and his buddies arrived soon after this strange thought experiment: The little prince, R2D2, the Ghost of Goethe, the Ghost of Newton, and me BL -- a zoo of characters wanting to break science out of the box of the Mainstream and turn it into theater again . By daring to let them do this, perhaps I will inspire some of you readers to turn this weird piece of theater back into much better science.--BL
