O autorze

Kracke, BerndBernd Kracke is a professor of electronic media since 1999 at the University of Art and Design (HfG) Offenbach and is also its president since 2006. He led the department for visual communication from 2001 to 2006. In 200 he founded CrossMediaLab as a research and experimental platform for connecting analog and digital technologies, as well as their innovative deployment in the context of art and design. He has built on his experiences of his work at MIT Cambridge/USA (1979-1985) the Kunsthochschule für Medien Köln (1990-1999), as well his practice as a freelance media designer and media artist. Since 2008 he is speaker for the Hessischen Film- und Medienakademie (hFMA) presidency, a network of the 13 Hessian universities. He initiated the B3 Biennial Frankfurt RheinMain, and took over its generaldirection in 2012.
