The paper examines the problems of the legal regime of plots in apartment buildings in terms of property relations. The issue of participation in the management of common property in terms of civil rights is investigated. The study of the legal regime uses an approach based on modern civil law theory and on historical information about the regulation of relevant relations in different periods (including pre-revolutionary and Soviet Russia).
