This report, as stated in the preface, is an attempt to describe some of the experiences and insights offered by Kundalini Shakti that were supported and explained over a period of five years by a master who helps people in difficult Kundalini processes. I myself went to this Kundalini master in order to overcome a stubborn blockage in my own process, not to write a book about his work and my experiences.
Only in the third year, when I began to understand the connection between a Kundalini rising and the many detours and wrong turns in my own life, and realized I had found a real master in a very usual way, the idea came to me to write this book.
During my second stay in Rishikesh, Swamiji gave us every evening for several weeks two to three hours of instructions. These daily classes offered insights into the theoretical background of this spiritual science. It was a regular course about Prana, Vayus, Nadis, Chakras, and Kundalini Shakti Herself, about the conditions for Her awakening, the subtle channels in which She rises and the blockages that hinder Her ascent at various levels of the subtle body.
During the class, we could ask questions and often the opportunity presented itself between the four hours of daily practice to ask Swamiji to clarify any doubts that had arisen. There was none of the false tones and pure speculation so frequent in the realm of spirituality. Swamiji's statements on Kundalini processes and their related subtle events were always clear and coherent. I tried to maintain this separation of chaff and wheat in the report.
The book ends with these words:
The persistence with which Swamiji follows his own traditional way and his unlimited openness for the many paths his disciples pursue, make it easy - because of the example he gives and the freedom one enjoys - to open oneself to 'the cause of all causes' Kundalini Shakti, who manifests Herself beyond the differences between East and West and all religious forms, wherever it pleases Her.
This last paragraph became an obituary. Swami Chandrasekharanand Saraswati left his physical body on March 30, 2016. But his work and what he taught us continues in his designated successor Silvia Viryananda and in the US with Joan Shivarpita Harrigan.
