"Ion Conducting Superionic Polymer Electrolytes", is mainly focused to develop some new ion conducting solid polymer electrolytes, nanocomposite polymer electrolytes and glass polymer electrolytes by using solvent-free dry techniques. The ion conduction phenomenon of the newly synthesized superionic polymer electrolytes have been briefly explained with the help of various experimental techniques and theoretical models. Materials characterization or polymer-salt complexation techniques such as XRD, FTIR, SEM, DSC, TGA etc. have been briefly discussed. To explain high ion transport within the bulk of different category of solids, a number of theories have been proposed which have also been reviewed briefly. Application aspects of these materials in a few prominent solid state electrochemical devices viz. batteries, fuel cells, supercapacitors, have also been reviewed. All-solid-state polymer battery fabrication and cell performance studies have been done in the present book. This book also provides different ideas of ion conduction mechanism, mainly in different ion conducting polymer electrolytes.
