This work focuses on transdisciplinarity, considering it as an educational principle. The higher education course in Indigenous Intercultural Education offered by the Federal University of Goiás (UFG) is the field in which records are generated for analysis. The subjects of the research are the indigenous students who entered the course in 2009. The objective of the research is to analyze the transdisciplinarity in the functioning structure of the course, considering its Political Pedagogical Project, observations of classes - as listener and monitor in different classes of the course - and also interviews granted by the students of the class that entered in 2009, in the final phase of formation. The study shows that there are adjustments to be made, many paths to be traveled, so that a transdisciplinary approach can be effectively materialized. At the same time, the research shows that the course reaches its main objectives and that the students/teachers feel prepared and satisfied with the transdisciplinary training. Thus, the contribution of all those involved in this construction process is necessary and essential for new transformations to take place.
