The objective of the research was to establish the relationship between institutional management and teacher performance in the Miguel Chuquisengo Ramirez educational institution, Tarapoto district, 2019. The study was of a descriptive correlational type, where a questionnaire of questions was applied to a sample of 23 collaborators, also tables, graphs and statistical formulas were used, reaching the conclusion that the institutional management is rated poor in 48%, due to the fact that the institution does not fully promote the participation of teachers in the development of management documents, which generates discomfort and disagreements. Likewise, 43% of the teachers' performance is rated as regular, that is, they do not show a high or low performance, because not all teachers present their planning documents in a timely manner, considering the school management commitments. In this sense, the hypothesis testing was carried out, which led to the conclusion that there is a relationship between the variables, since the "p" value obtained is less than 0.05. Likewise, since the "r" value is 0.585, it indicates a moderate positive correlation.
