The last section is on legal issues and includes workers compensation.

The book is completely revised and removes or combines chapters with marginal value such as applying computer simulation to occupational safety and health, ensuring quality in a medical surveillance program, applying the microcomputer to occupational safety and health, and providing liability industrial coverage while adding new and timely topics including prevention by design, machine guarding, statistics for safety and health, safety and health management systems, safety and health management of international operations, EHS auditing, safety and health in product stewardship, and safety and health in sustainability

O autorze

S.Z. MANSDORF, PHD, CIH, CSP, QEP, is the consultant in EHS and Sustainability. Until 2009 he was Senior Vice President of Safety, Health, Environment, for L'Oreal Group. More recently, Zack has worked on risk assessment studies, KPI metrics development, EHS assessments in Asia and other projects of a similar nature. Zack is a past president of AIHA, the Academy of Industrial Hygiene, and the American Industrial Hygiene Foundation. He is also a Fellow of ASTM and AIHA.
