Fu-Bao Wu is a professor-level senior engineer, and the current Director of the Comprehensive Management Centre at the China Electric Power Research Institute in Nanjing. He has carried out extensive R&D in fields including energy distribution, micro-grids, energy storage and renewable energy generation monitoring and control. He has won prizes for his work, including a Jiangsu Science and Technology Progress Award (first prize), a State Grid Science and Technology Progress Award (first prize), a State Grid Science and Technology Progress Award (second prize), a State Grid Science and Technology Progress Award (third prize), a Jinlin Science and Technology Progress Award (third prize), a Nanjing Science and Technology Progress Award (first prize), a China Electric Power Science and Technology Progress Award (third prize) and a China Electrotechnical Society Science and Technology Progress Award (second prize). He is a member of various committees, including the Electrical Energy Storage Standardization Technical Committee (SACTC550) and the Operation and Control Technology Standard Work Group for the State Grid. He has led the preparation of two national standards, four industry standards and six enterprise standards. He is the author of 48 patents and has published nearly 80 journal articles and two books.
Bo Yang received the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, in 2009. He is currently a Full Professor with Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, China. Prior to joining Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2010, he was a Post-Doctoral Researcher with the KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden, from 2009 to 2010, and a Visiting Scholar with the Polytechnic Institute of New York University in 2007. His research interests include optimization for energy networks and internet of things. He has been the Principal Investigator in several research projects, including the NSFC Key Project. He was a recipient of the Ministry of Education Natural Science Award 2016, the Shanghai Technological Invention Award 2017, the Shanghai Rising- Star Program 2015, and the SMC-Excellent Young Faculty Award by Shanghai Jiao Tong University
