A before and after study was carried out to study the effect of 2 weeks of gross motor skills training on balance in Visually Impaired Children of 6-10 years of age. 24 Children fulfilling the inclusion and exclusion criteria were enrolled in this study. Balance of these children was assessed using outcome measure Pediatric Balance Scale and scores were recorded. Gross motor skills training intervention was given to them for 2 weeks. Balance was assessed using PBS again after the intervention and the scores were recorded. Data was analysed using Paired T test to find out the effect of these gross motor skills training and the significance was seen. Mean of Pre PBS was 28.31±3.704 and Mean of Post PBS was 30.71±4.048. Results of the study demonstrated that there was a difference seen on balance after 2 weeks of gross motor skills training on visually impaired children of 6-10 years. Thus, this study concludes that gross motor skills training should be given to improve balance in visually impaired children.
