It is intended to make reading more comfortable for the reader, as its reduced length makes it easier to read than a 600-page thesis. The book deals with the second chapter of the thesis, which focuses on formline design among the Nuu-Chah-Nulth and how Native Americans of this ethnic group on the southern coast of western Canada process and visually implement the trickster concept with the help of formline design.
