This research aims to elucidate issues related to gender discrimination, addressing gender-related problems identified in educational practices. It also seeks to bring to the discussion table the realities that permeate the lives of boys and girls in their school experiences, reflecting on the theoretical concepts addressed by Guacira Louro and Montsserat Moreno. Like children, we must also transgress in order to learn, to recognise, to position ourselves. There is a conviction that schools can help and act as educators of reflective, critical, autonomous individuals who know how to construct their identities: man, woman, black, white, indigenous, poor, rich, heterosexual, in short, all those social markers that identify us.
