As the world's population continues to increase, we look for different methods of agricultural techniques to meet demands for sustenance, through farming, for human consumption. For this research the concept of agriculture includes vegetable farming, as well as animal-meat farming. The past twenty years has shown an increase in the development of large-scale industrial farms or factory farms to produce food for human consumption. The issues at hand are that many of the large scale farming practices are having adverse effects on the environment and are directly affecting human health conditions. The perceived problem is that this form of agriculture has become the primary source for human food consumption and there is a trend for this form of farming to continue in the future. If a link can be shown to the potential adverse effects to the human condition from industrial farms alleged weak management practices; from ineffective site management, ineffective waste management, and ineffective treatment of animal sicknesses that are directly effecting the human health condition.
