Atul Sharma is Assistant Professor at Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology, Rae Bareli, U.P., India. Dr. Sharma has 17 years of research and over 9 years of teaching experience. He has over 140 publications to his credit that include 46 patents that are valid only in ROC Taiwan. Prior to joining (July 2009) Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology, Dr. Sharma has been working at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Kun Shan University, Tainan, Taiwan, R.O.C. and New & Renewable Energy Research Department, Korea Institute of Energy Research, Daejon, South Korea. He was awarded with Senior Research Fellowship and Junior Research Fellowship in the National Renewable Energy Fellowship Programme funded by Ministry of Non-Conventional Energy Sources, New Delhi, Govt. of India. His areas of specialization are Solar Thermal Energy Storage Systems, Phase Change Materials (PCMs) Development and its Applications.
Sanjay Kumar Kar, Assistant Professor of the Department of Management Studies at Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RGIPT), NOIDA. Prior to joining RGIPT, Dr. Kar taught at the Institute of Petroleum Management, Gandhi Nagar. As a visiting faculty, he had been associated with the Chonnal National University (South Korea), National Institute of Fashion Technology, India and other national level management institutes. He has more than 12 years of research and teaching experience. He regularly contributes articles to refereed journals and books. He has contributed numerous book chapters to several books published by reputed international publishers. To his credit, he has several case studies, research papers, book chapters, conference papers and presentations. His current research interests are in the area of retailing, distribution of petroleum and natural gas, energy policy and green energy.
