Ebere Ahanihu is a PhD student at Carleton University, Ottawa, in Canada. Until 2006, he was assistant editor, The Guardian newspaper, in Lagos, Nigeria. He is the author of 'The Gathering Storm of HIV/AIDS in Nigeria: The story so far', and a recipient of media awards, including the Fletcher Challenge Paper Commonwealth Media Award.
