Main tasks of our research include: (1)exploringoptimum growth conditions for PLD deposition ofself-assembled nanophase PbTiO3-CoFe2O4 films withdifferent compositions and orientations; (2)analyzingmorphologies and nanostructures of the two-phasefilms to clarify relative effects of elastic energyand interface energy on the self-assembled filmformation; (3)investigating stress state andrelaxation of stresses arising as a result of aparaelectric-ferroelectric transformation in PbTiO3;(4)exploring ferroelectric state in the confinedPbTiO3 nanophase in the films with and orientations.
