There are deeply felt and philosophical sentiments alongside much lighter musings. He openly admits his own narcissistic and self-obsessive tendencies, together with all the insecurities. In turn, the prevalence of such tendencies in wider society is suggested. Questions are asked - where is the human race going? Why are we beset with such contradictions and hypocrisy? What is for dinner?
