A very easy, and indeed enjoyable text to follow. From personal experience I know that this book has been very well accepted and used by undergraduates and postgraduates .The text highlights the critical points and issues .The book actually tells a story but as with any text book can be dipped into to whichever subject is being investigated. A useful desktop reference text book for its intended readership. Overall, this text is a welcome addition to the colloid community. ( Bristol Colloid Centre, November 2009)
