The qualitative approach of my master's thesis (2017), allowed me to capture in this book, the life stories of the interviewees that occurred in the decade of 1990-2000, before the unjust State policy of collective dismissals, caused by the former ruler Alberto Fujimori of Peru, where we were harmed (including myself), not only the former public employees, but also our family environment. In order to fulfill this investigative task, those who agreed to narrate and remember their disastrous experiences, did so by touching their most intimate fibers, giving rise to diverse reactions, from lost looks, broken words, the glitter in their eyes; to the pathetic moment of unloading the "backpack" that they had accumulated for several years: with tears, anger and irreproducible words. In reason that, since 1992 we had been fighting at judicial and union level in the different governments that published lists to benefit from: reinstatement, retirement, advanced or economic compensation and that until the present 2022, they continue trying to vindicate their violated rights. Although unfortunately many of them are no longer on this earthly plane.
