In initial teacher training, reading and writing are two essential processes that are implied in all curricular spaces as learning content or as transversal axes in the training of the teacher educator. Writing in general and academic writing produced in the formal higher education environment, takes different forms when taking into account factors such as the context of the course or discipline in which it is written, the purpose and the teacher's assessment. The writing of academic texts is a complex phenomenon that requires the integration of a series of cognitive skills that allow the writer to generate ideas, organize them coherently, write correctly, make drafts, and have and manage a wide vocabulary to face this task in the courses of the curriculum of the Bachelor's Degree in Preschool Education.
