Michael D. Sheimo is an internationally known author who has been writing for more than l O years. He is a recognized expert on the Dow Theory. His book Dow Theory Redux (Probus, 1989) was well reviewed by James Gould of Pace University, in the magazine Technical Analysis of Stock & Commodities, and by Stanley Angrist of The Wall Street Journal, who wrote, "If you trade stocks and don't know anything about the Dow Theory you should learn its fundamentals. It would be hard to find an easier way to do so than Michael Sheimo's book." Dow Theory Redux was also published in India. Mr. Sheimo's Stock Market Rules (Probus, 1990; also in paperback, Probus, 1995), a book discussing stock trading techniques, has had several printings, was also published in Japan, China, and Malaysia, and is still selling in 1997. The Stock Selector System, a fundamental format for setting objectives, selecting stocks, and evaluating results, was published by John Wiley & Sons of New York in 1995. He also researched, assembled, and edited a monumental international reference work (two volumes) titled The World Encyclopedia of the Stock Market, published by Fitzroy-Dearborn (Chicago & London) in 1997. Mr. Sheimo has more than 25 years experience in business. In finance he spent more than l O years as a Registered Representative and Registered Options Principal, working at Merrill Lynch and Olde Financial Corporation. He now works as a business consultant for companies like IDS, Target (Dayton Hudson), Norwest Bank, and, recently, worked on a special project for the Marketing Research Department at Pillsbury (Grand Met) in Minneapolis. He resides in Edina, Minnesota.
