Neal Scruggs holds a bachelor's degree from the University of
Kentucky in Lexington and a Ph.D. from the California
Institute of Technology in Pasadena, both in chemical
engineering. His doctral thesis work earned him five
publicaitons in peer-reviewed journals and a post-doctoral
research fellowship at NIST in Gaithersburg, MD.
