The investigations on the influence of external electrostatic fields on biological objects and particularly on the human health have been initiated since 1960s. A multitude of studies have been performed on whether the electric fields generated by electrical installations represent any kind of health risk. Nevertheless, till now the data on exposure of electrostatic field are insufficient to draw conclusions regarding the possibility of health effects. Results obtained in some investigations are inconstant, this impede to draw the overall picture of alterations of biological processes and to understand the nature of interactions of this factor with live objects. Anyway, it seems that interactions of external electrostatic field with an organism are much deeper than it appears on the first glance. Alterations in proteome, oxidative processes, and blood clotting rate after exposure to electrostatic field were fragmentary observed earlier. This monograph mainly is devoted to the study of relationships between these processes as well as given some assumptions about the causes of variability of the data obtained in studies of the biological effects of external electrostatic fields.
