Dyslexia is one of many learning disabilities in students, and the rate of dyslexia in students is increasing in the United States. Approximately one out of ten students face dyslexia-related problems in school. The purpose of this phenomenological study was to explore the lived experiences of teachers and staff helping students with dyslexia in a school environment through the development of suitable teaching strategies. This study was qualitative and phenomenological, and purposive sampling was used to select participants. The findings of the study also revealed the participants' views on various challenges in implementing the strategies identified and explored the relevance of these challenges, as these findings may contribute to the academic development of students with dyslexia.
