This book reported the literature survey of the chemistry of antipyrine. In this context, all the synthetic methods used for the preparation of antipyrine that is one of the most important organic compounds, were reported. In addition, the synthetic methods used for the preparation of 4-aminoantipyrine were investigated. Compounds incorporated antipyrine moiety exhibited high biological activities, so it was used in drug design.
