Gandolfo Dominici is Associate Professor of Business Management at the Department SEAS, Polytechnic School of the University of Palermo (Italy) and co-founder and Scientific Director of the Business Systems Laboratory.
He is author of more than 78 published articles and books on the topics of: e-Marketing , New Product Development, Sustainability, CSR, , Systems Thinking and Organizational Cybernetics.
He is Editor in Chief of Kybernetes, of the International Journal of Markets and Business Systems, and of the International Journal of Electronic Marketing and Retailing. He is member of the editorial board of several international peer reviewed journals.
He has been keynote speaker and board member in a number of international conferences.
Manlio Del Giudice, PhD is Associate Professor of Management at the University of Rome "Link Campus” and qualified as Full Professor of Management in Italy. Furthermore he is affiliated as Professor of Management and Entrepreneurship at the Paris School of Business, France and at the National Research University of Moscow, Russia. He serves as Director for Research and Scholarly Relations within the EMRBI network. Prof. Del Giudice is in charge as Senior Associate Editor of the Journal of Knowledge Management. He is the author of more than 100 international articles published on flagship peer-reviewed journals like MIS Quarterly, Journal of Knowledge Management, Journal of Technology Transfer, International Journal of Technology Management, International Journal of Human Resource Management, International Marketing Review, Technological Forecasting and Social Change.
Based on papers from the 4th Business Systems Laboratory International Symposium (BSLAB) in 2016, this volume contributes to the business management, organizational and innovation literature by providing insights on the antecedents of systems thinking in the business systems domain. The Business Systems Laboratory International Symposium addresses current global economic and social challenges from a systemic perspective, drawing from the domains of management, economics, engineering and sociology.
