Over the course of the last few years, I have slowly developed a passion for writing. The process is one that allows me to slow down, observe the world around me, and throw those observations onto paper. We live in a society which is ever-evolving and the poems within this book attempt to tackle issues each of us faces in our daily lives: love, the building of a family, social constructs, coming-of-age, and death. Sometimes these issues are greater than words can explain, hence the book's title. It is my hope that you as a reader relate to the writings and share with others what you take away from your reading of them. As a future educator, I understand the importance of poetry - not just its analysis but the process through which one produces and shares it. This is the second edition of "Greater Than Words." It contains new poems, error revisions, and some of the same poems from the first edition.
