This is the story of my family and their beginning in Iberia many thousands of years ago. It opens with a young girl trying to escape her captors who want to sell her off as a slave. She survives her escape and dwells in the camp of a peaceful but powerful Celtic warrior class dominated tribe in the Spanish Pyrenees Mountains of northern Spain. My grandfather of a generation before her arrival had seen the danger's that will always pursue his people and the generation she enters has decided to seek a safer land elsewhere. After consulting with the Basque sailors who reside west of them his descendants send a group north to evaluate and settle in the large island the Basque have told them about. Many of my grandfathers DNA proven bloodline grandchildren refuse to leave their beautiful valley in the mountains, the "Aran valley" of the Pyrenees. Their heart is too embedded in the valley. This entire tribe has two separate elements that are always to determine their failure or successful survival in the very wild and deadly region in which they live or their future homes. The guardian Pyrenees Mastiff dogs of massive size and devotion to their family of humans, and the second is the strength and resolve of the women our grandfathers perpetuate our bloodline with. One of the main reasons we will survive for three thousand years as a family. The tale that I will unfold will be a story of an event in human history. It will be my attempt to show the drifting out of Northern Spain by our first Clan members and a possible explanation as to why they left. A large number of this (DNA SRY2627) family stayed in those mountains. Many migrated to all corners of the known planet, some went south into Iberia, many went east, and some immigrated to an island north of them they had heard about, a peaceful beautiful land called England... I begin this journey in the probable location my ancient family resided in at the time of my Grandfathers birth, the Aran Valley of Northern Spain. This is an actual place, as any check of your World Atlas will verify. The large Pyrenean Mastiff dog breed in this book exists to this day.
