It follows the events of a teen named Jonathan William Haubert and his quest to find his way to cope with the trouble of an average teen's life. This collection spans a timeline of almost half a decade and over the years both the poems, and the author himself, mature and find more of a focus in the fact that life is an ongoing battle that most, if not all, the entire world lives with on a daily basis. These are the collected thoughts of the average teen and/or young adult, and in someway or another, the whole world can relate to.
This is not a traditional assortment of poems. To grasp fully this concept, one must set aside his or her knowledge of proper grammar and think inward of our true human natures. Although this collection is written in an aggressive manner, it is far from being an aggressive book, rather it is a book of truth, no matter how bleak it may seem. The Wars of the Mind is a new aspect in the poetry world and takes the reader to new heights and new options as to expressing themselves as close to thetruth as possible. It does not take a great writer to express one's self, rather it takes a sheet of paper, a pen and just a few minutes of time. The Wars of the Mind series gives the reader a chance to know that any given person, either big or small, can express himself or herself and fight away the hectic troubles of the life of an average person.
