Raciti selects poetic styles that fit the speaker-be it simple child-like rhyme, free verse expressing cynical snobbery, sneering anger or political criticism. He reserves the formal nature of the sonnet to speak reverently of love or death. JAMES J. RACITI, PhD, has had a home in Santa Fe, New Mexico for many years. A native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he has spent more than twenty-five years in Europe as a university educator. His previous collections of poetry were "Charles" and "Dabs of Myself."
