Wireless Optical Sensor Link mainly deals with the wireless transfer of information (temperature sensor reading) from one point (transmitter) to another (receiver) through a small distance (25cm) via infrared medium. This signal is then detected at the receiving side with the help of a photodetector circuit and finally demodulated and decoded back to the originally sent signal with the help of an integrator circuit. The result obtained was approximately the same as to what was being transmitted. Noise and other factor interrupting the signal have been taken into consideration as well.
