Web streaming is an emerging technology that will certainly occupy an important place in the field of cyberculture. This research proposed a theoretical survey of this area and an analysis of the different approaches to the creation, production and distribution of web streaming content: live digital TV and on-demand (pre-recorded content that people can access). The main objective of this research was to map the behaviour of existing Web Streamings; select and analyse products in these formats, addressing current issues involving the topic, as well as exploring, deepening, opening paths and continuing research.
