Opis

During the early centuries of Christianity, there was believed to be a "secret knowledge" that Jesus had shared with his disciples. Some Christian sects, notably the Gnostics, claimed to have and practice these sacred mysteries. Now for the first time, this secret knowledge is revealed in The Gospel of Simon: Revelation of the Sacred Mysteries.A battle raged for the first few centuries within the Christian community, between the more revolutionary, Gnostic like sects and those sects with a more traditional approach to religion. Ultimately, the orthodox Catholic sects, in alignment with the Roman Empire, prevailed; purging and destroying the "hidden" books that told the story of the secret teachings of Jesus.A clear challenge to the Christian establishment, this book will likely be condemned as a heretical perversion. Read it if you dare; but be prepared to be offended if you hold traditional Christian beliefs. For those with an open mind, be prepared to view Christianity in a whole new way.
